I'm a day early this week! I'm early this week, because I'm not going to have much time, if any, to upload this on a Saturday like I normally do. With that said, Mario Tennis for the Gameboy Color. I played this game as a kid, but not a whole lot. A good reason for that is because my brother played this game constantly. If we were going to be riding in the car for a while, there was a good chance my brother started a new save file and was about to beat the game by the time we made it to our destination.

I learned to greatly appreciate the music of this game from him. So, when I was thinking about how I wanted to approach this song, one of the ideas I came up with was a real synth heavy style, kind of like an 80s synth. When I think heavy 80s synth, I think back to playing Turtles in Time on the SNES. So, I took it a bit further, and strictly adhered to the limitations and style presented in the SNES version of the game (6 channels used instead of the total 8), buffed out all of the kinks, and here we are! I based the remix mostly off of the GBC version of the game, but some of the 64 version's influence my pop through here and there.
