"Summer's Daughter" is a track from The 5th Dimension's underrated masterpiece "The Magic Garden" from 1967. "The Magic Garden" is one of the first concept albums and is presented in a song-cycle with musical interludes between the tracks. The entire album was written by Jimmy Webb with songs based on the ups and downs of his love relationships. It is a masterpiece of an album that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
