Rev. Leonetta returns with a message and suggestions for surviving the heat of summer brought about by political powers that seem beyond our control.
Kenneth Patton, Unitarian Universalist minister suggests that some behaviors are impermissible. Buddhist Mindfulness teachings refer to some behaviors as non-negotiable.
Rev. Leonetta brings to us re-affirmations needed as individuals and community to meet the challenges of this particular time.
Rev. Patton stated that “impermissibles are those acts we will not perform for any reason. Civilization is the discipline of inhibitions, the accumulation of impermissibles.WHAT WE MAY NOT DO FRAMES WHAT WE MAY DO. The permissibles have no outline without a circumference of impermissibles.”
