My old pole and tarp shelter finally met it's final days. To replace it, I've built an A-frame shelter using steel brackets, pressure-treated posts, rough-cut lumber, and a heavy duty tarp. This shelter was inexpensive and quick to build, and yet should last several years until I can gather up the materials to build a proper sugar shack. This was a necessary build to protect my Dominion & Grimm evaporator.
