Join me for a new beginner friendly project where I will be creating a slow stitch patchwork style jacket featuring stitch doodling. It would work equally well on a tablecloth or bag or pouch so feel free to adapt the ideas and inspiration to your own slow stitch project.
In this video I share how I am making grandma’s garden hexagon flowers and repurposing vintage linens including a vibrant vintage tea towel and vintage doilies with sweet appliqués.

I’m looking forward to wearing my new jacket at the Fleur Woods textile artist retreat I will be heading off to next week.
It’s wonderful to be using some of my vintage linens, doilies and appliqués I have collected in my many vintage thrifty hauls as well as lots of vintage and some new fabrics.
Here’s the link to Gail from instagram.com/gladdyandflo_?igsh=MTdiaXJpdXAwOWw2aA==
I hope this provides some fun inspiration for your own project and I’d love if you wanted to join me in creating your own strawberry fields project.
Cheers,
Christine
