Join me for this new project as I show you how you can use scraps of lace and treasured vintage and antique lace pieces to create a beautiful French inspired collage.
In future videos we will add colourful stitching to our lace collages (or print outs of our lace collages).
The French images I am using as my centrepieces are from La Mode Illustree and you can find images from this on wiki commons that you can use copyright free.
Alternatively you can put a pretty piece of fabric at the centre like a spray of flowers.
In the video I share a range of ideas for how you can join in with this project.
I hope you enjoy this fun new project that will give you a way to honour and enjoy your treasured lace pieces or to enjoy my lace collages which I will be sharing scanned copies of so you can print and use in journals or your own stitching.
