I am deeply honored that Adele jumped so quickly to say "yes" to my request for this conversation. You all will find her work deeply important, provocative, and stimulating. While being "proper" scholarship, advancing the field of biblical studies, most of it is also accessible to non-academics. This is truly unusual.

Her work has focused on two subjects: the Bible in/and Hollywood, and the Anti-Judaic themes in the Newer Testament writings and thus within Jewish-Christian relations.
