lovely listeners...i began writing “story” at the start of a monumental heartbreak. the song acknowledges that the painful parts of our lives can sometimes feel like an endless carousel, but it also grasps on to the optimism we so desperately need during those times. i wanted this track to remind us of what life could be like when we have faith in the chapters ahead. maybe our story will one day lead us to everything we could have ever hoped for. xo, r.
