It's getting crowded in the Wetlands here at Nordens Ark. 50's storks, adults and chicks, share the space and so far, the chicks are lying quietly in the nest - except when the parents come to feed them, then it is quite noisy, I assure you.
It won't be long now before this year's chicks are about to start flying. Then we will take them down to the Stork projekt in Skåne in the south of Sweden where, on July 29, they will be released into the wild before it’s time to head south.
