Life in the wild is full of surprises and challenges. Even the animals have to train and practice to be ready for them. Enrichment is an important part of our daily work. Our keepers have many different enrichments to choose from for the animals.
Today, the Amur tiger got a boomer ball to work with. The ball is smeared with cat food and blood to smell and taste exciting. The large ball is not only heavy, it is also made to withstand the sharp claws of the tiger.
