What the heck are Tossers! Tossers are all the stock cams we toss out when performing a cam swap. One man’s Tossers is another man’s treasure! Compared to the mildest stock 4.8L LR4 or 5.3L LM7 cam, the other stock cams (LS1/2/3/6/7/9 or L33, LSA, LQ9 etc…) can offer significant power gains over the stock LM7 (as much as 60+ hp). The downside to some of these tossers is that the added hp comes with a loss of torque (see full vid I have up on my channel). I included graphs on some of the power curves of these cams at the end of the post. Who is rockin’ stock?
