Built by Henry Ford, Greenfield Village is a living history museum located in Dearborn, Michigan. Ford began acquiring historic buildings in the early 1920s, and he eventually accumulated nearly 100 buildings from across the United States. He had them relocated or reconstructed on the grounds of Greenfield Village. Two of the buildings were the Wright Brothers' Cycle Company and their home, originally located in Dayton, Ohio. They were moved in 1936 by Henry Ford, who was a great admirer of the Wright Brothers.

The Cycle Company building, originally built in 1896, was where the Wright Brothers built their first bicycles and manufactured their own brand of bicycles. It is the only building that remains from the Wright Brothers' four bicycle shops. The building is a two-story brick structure with a large workshop on the first floor and living quarters on the second floor. The Wright Brothers' home, originally built in 1870, was where they grew up and lived with their parents and sister. It was also where they conducted their early experiments with gliders and airplanes. The Greenfield Village buildings, restored to their original condition, contain a variety of exhibits about the Wright Brothers' lives and work. Visitors can see the tools and machines that the Wright Brothers used, as well as the gliders and airplanes that they built. The Wright Brothers Cycle Company and home is a popular tourist destination and a great place to learn the history of aviation.
