Difficulty = Low

Neat shooter for PC only. Visually very polished: Lots of different enemy types, interesting boss designs and lots of background eye candy. Soundtrack is not bad either.

At first glance the ship design and accessory weapons seem similar to Einhänder. However there are only three different accessory weapons and you can't switch configurations above / below the ship. Imo lack of different weapon options is one of the biggest drawbacks of the game. Anyways, weapons complete each other nicely and gameplay turns out balanced without any semi-useless junk.

One thing troubling me is that it's sometimes a bit difficult to see where irregularly shaped walls are and estimate how close hitbox is to walls. Common feature that's troubled me with some shooters since Project X. This is why I play a bit safe when collecting score items close to walls, because very often I end up colliding near walls.

As a score run this play is not that good. I had only played through the whole game two times and was happy to finish it on this difficulty with the same number of lives I started with. I could probably finish medium without extra practice, but would also die more often. As far as I know there isn't any extra content depending on difficulty. There are only five levels, but the game is pretty long to finish on one sitting, because levels are huge compared to most shooters. There is an option though to select starting level for first three levels, but with reseted score.
