The first year that the National Parks Service operated Steamtown in Scranton, PA, I went out there to videotape the action. I had my new video rig, one of the first hi-fi stereo consumer camcorders, equipped with a pair of external omnidirectional condenser microphones. The VHS images aren't very sharp, but the sound is still spectacular!

Henry Fords cameramen traveled west in 1916, and on the way captured some scenes of railroad operations in the state of Colorado. Scenes include:
