The North Shore Scenic Railroad owns and operates an excellent collection of locomotives. One such engine is DM&IR 332, which we'll see running on a chilly October day with LOTS of steam and smoke!
We'll chase the 332 from Duluth, MN to Palmers, and back, and get some great close up views along the way! We'll begin at the Lake Superior Railroad Museums shops, and see the 332 before it got on its train. After seeing it move around the shops, we'll watch it depart and head up the line! Listen and watch as it tackles Lemon Drop hill, and WORKS up the stiff grade. Following this, we'll see it at other places such as Lakeside, Palmers, and a number of other locations. As the train heads up, we'll see it running tender first towards Duluth.
