In the past few weeks there's been a HUGE resurgence of EMD power in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Thanks to more KCS power coming to the area on the CPKC, a large variety of GP40-2s and GP38-2s, have found their way on a variety of locals, and transfers. In each case, putting on a show! Almost stalling out in the rain, screaming past, or shining in the setting sun, this classic power looks GREAT!
Things start off with an extra J15, also known as the CPBN Transfer, nearly stalling in the rain on the formidable Shortline Hill. After this, we'll see a former Milwaukee Road GP38-2 working J15, and on J42 in stunning sun. To top it off, we'll see some really cool freight cars. With one being painted up with Ozzy Osborne on it, and many colorful others!
