I am so happy we finally got to collab! Our first attempt was 2 years ago, also with BSG, but it never got finished. For Zoé's collab month we decided to try again with a fresh project and here we are. I love the end result!
This... might as well be my goodbye to YouTube. I don't even watch shows anymore, and when I try they disappoint me or leave me feeling nothing. I do want to hope that changes in the future but until then, without passion there's no vidding - for me, at least.

This is what Ive been working on this entire week. Yeah, a whole week. Im being so creative lately and all about trying new effects, new styles and thats the continuation. Its so not my usual style but from now on Ill experiment a lot so... feel warned. :)
Back to the video itself. I dont think Ive seen something like that before. Basically there are two separate storylines in this vid and thats because of the song cause it has two singers singing different lyrics at the same time. Heres the link to the lyrics (those on the left are Deans and those on the right are Sams):

At the beginning theres the general part (black&white). Then theres Sams storyline (black&white) and Deans storyline (colour). Then again theres a general part (coloured this time), then again its divided and at the end general once again.
I know, its quite confusing but hopefully its possible to understand what its all about.
And its all about my favourite tv brothers, the Winchesters. I wanted to make a video about their bond, about their family, friends, lovers and how it affected them and their relationship. I really tried to find suitable clips and everythings well thought, not random.
Its my entry for the Blood and Tears contest. We were supposed to make a video to a song thats emotional for us. Well, this song brings sad memories to me, so it is emotional and when I heard it, I knew it was just perfect for SPN. And this video is quite emotional as well.

Okay freaking out set aside, this is actually me. This 4-minute video was actually me.
What can I say... this show! I did not expect to like it so much, let alone fall in love with it. Its just so good, smart, funny (I didnt expect it to be funny at all, and its actually hilarious?? like?? how??) and overall amazing. 10/10 recommend.
And then, these two... Well, they are a couple of wonderfully written and acted characters. I dont know where this idea came from exactly. But it gave me the opportunity to do something Ive wanted to do for a long time.
This is a kind of all-in-one video: a bit of character studies, a bit of platonic relationship study and then, in the end, romantic. I wanted to cover their dynamic fully. So that the romance, which only starts around 3 minutes into the video, feels like a natural progression, something organic and based on the things that came first.
When I showed some scenes from this show to my roommate, she drew a conclusion that I really liked. She said that theres a lot of love in this show but its not the sex on the table kind of love, its the more mature kind of love that comes from friendship and life experience. And I think she nailed it. I hope that, whoever actually decided to watch it and stick til the end, will have the same impression. :)
Also, Ive made it a tiny bit AU in a way, basically what would happen if s3 went in a different direction with these and gave us more than these as the comic relief. I know she meant that, like, come on. We all know. :D
This project gave me so much joy. I really poured my heart and soul into it. I havent edited something like this in a long long time. Everytime I opened the project, I loved it more. And even when I was angry with it, couldnt stay angry for long, and ended up loving it again. It was truly magical.

Long time no see! This project took me ages but Im so glad its done. Ive got bored and tired of my action multifandoms recently. This shot at storytelling/au was an opportunity to test myself with things Im not used to and get out of my comfort zone. I hope it was worth it. ^^
This is my entry for 2nd round of The Hunger Games Competition. The theme was filmography of a chosen actor/actress. Instead of making a typical filmography for Eliza Dushku, I decided to put a twist on the challenge and create a story based on Dollhouse/The Gable 5s storylines. Its kind of a crossover, kind of an au. Idek. xD

This is my entry for the first round of the 2nd year of TYS. We were supposed to make a video consisting of only shots/parts of the body.

As for the video... It was pretty much a coincidence when it began. I got randomly inspired for the song on American Culture class on Thursday, and I thought... Banshee? xD Then forgot about it and just randomly remembered again on Saturday. I even named the project maybe but probs not and literally didn;t say a word to anyone about it, thats how much I believed it would become a thing. And here we are, 4 days later, its a thing. ;p
I vidded the whole song without any cuts for the first time since February 2012. This is a milestone for me.

It was initially meant to be an appreciation for the gorgeous cinematography and camerawork in the show. And along the way it became sort of a general tribute to the different sides of this brilliant show: the cinematography, the badassery and the heartbreak.
