Okay freaking out set aside, this is actually me. This 4-minute video was actually me.
What can I say... this show! I did not expect to like it so much, let alone fall in love with it. It's just so good, smart, funny (I didn't expect it to be funny at all, and it's actually hilarious?? like?? how??) and overall amazing. 10/10 recommend.
And then, these two... Well, they are a couple of wonderfully written and acted characters. I don't know where this idea came from exactly. But it gave me the opportunity to do something I've wanted to do for a long time.
This is a kind of all-in-one video: a bit of character studies, a bit of platonic relationship study and then, in the end, romantic. I wanted to cover their dynamic fully. So that the romance, which only starts around 3 minutes into the video, feels like a natural progression, something organic and based on the things that came first.
When I showed some scenes from this show to my roommate, she drew a conclusion that I really liked. She said that there's a lot of love in this show but it's not the "sex on the table kind of love," it's the more mature kind of love that comes from friendship and life experience. And I think she nailed it. I hope that, whoever actually decided to watch it and stick til the end, will have the same impression. :)
Also, I've made it a tiny bit AU in a way, basically what would happen if s3 went in a different direction with these and gave us more than these as the comic relief. I know she meant that, like, come on. We all know. :'D
This project gave me so much joy. I really poured my heart and soul into it. I haven't edited something like this in a long long time. Everytime I opened the project, I loved it more. And even when I was angry with it, couldn't stay angry for long, and ended up loving it again. It was truly magical.

Last but not least, since this isn't a popular fandom, I wanted to spread the love and dedicate it to the few people I saw that loved and/or vidded this show and couple:

Long time no see! This project took me ages but Im so glad its done. Ive got bored and tired of my action multifandoms recently. This shot at storytelling/au was an opportunity to test myself with things Im not used to and get out of my comfort zone. I hope it was worth it. ^^
This is my entry for 2nd round of The Hunger Games Competition. The theme was filmography of a chosen actor/actress. Instead of making a typical filmography for Eliza Dushku, I decided to put a twist on the challenge and create a story based on Dollhouse/The Gable 5s storylines. Its kind of a crossover, kind of an au. Idek. xD
The storyline in short: Big corporations conducting an experiment that would lead them to taking over the world using Dollhouse as their cover. Echo is the test subject - shes the first but not last, there are many more to follow.")

As for the video... It was pretty much a coincidence when it began. I got randomly inspired for the song on American Culture class on Thursday, and I thought... Banshee? xD Then forgot about it and just randomly remembered again on Saturday. I even named the project maybe but probs not and literally didn;t say a word to anyone about it, thats how much I believed it would become a thing. And here we are, 4 days later, its a thing. ;p
I vidded the whole song without any cuts for the first time since February 2012. This is a milestone for me.

Editing this song felt just so good and I asked if that was okay to do THIS above. Use my parts, add some more and make a full video. And it felt good.

I cant just vid Teen Wolf forever.
So this is the story of how a TW distraction turned out to be a new obsession basically. ;D I love Graceland! It might not seem any special at first sight but its really amazing, brilliant dynamic between the characters and unpredictable twists. Deff a recommendation from me. ^^
As for the video itself, not my best and I know that. Also, sorry for the lack of creativity when it comes to song choice - Ill try to do better next time! But this one was just so fitting, couldnt resist even though it is terribly overvided. :D
I really loved Mikes journey in season 1 (cant wait for s2!). And since Im in the topic of morality lately, writing my presentation about the lust for power covers that really well, I loved this storyline even more. For those who dont know the show and still decided to watch this vid (youre my fave kind of subscribers, you know that?), hes an FBI undercover agent whos forced to do some pretty bad things in order to get the bad guys. Has to become one of them. With this comes the moral ambiguity of this job, which I think is emphasised perfectly by the last quote said by a crime boss he put in jail.
Also, than you so much for 900+ subs! Youre the best. ^^
