On my long overdue quest to learn modern scenery techniques...I am practicing the dark art of Static Grass! One thing I have learnt is , that the stuff goes everywhere , which can be a hazard on a running railroad..not to mention the clean up! While trying to do small areas of grass, it soon became apparent that the standard applicators make a big mess and are not suited to small detailed areas, so I decided to splash out and try WWS small but very easy to use "Precision" applicator . This was my first trial of this unit and I must say I'm very impressed with how accurately you can place the grass , with very little waste and clean up. While you still need the bigger applicators, this detailing tool is a great addition to your scenery kit!
