Welcome back , this is a long one so feel free to skip to the times in the description. In part two of this series, the tank and hopper cars of the local train are switched into the mixed manifest , heading for West Birdwood. We see the train head through my fully lined tunnel, then wind over itself as it descends the Helix, and finally arrive in West Birdwood Yard.
In this , probably the final Ops sessions filmed on the layout, I tried some single point lighting, which gives a more "natural " feel , as the light comes from only one source...just like the real life. It's not that easy as the sun has far more coverage than one studio light on a stand, but you get the idea and I will experiment with this more in the future.
In Part 3 of this series, we will join another local, as it takes the tank and hopper cars to the Bio-Diesel plant .
