This has been and continues to be a frustrating project. I didn’t really feel like making this video and perhaps those of you in the audience don’t really want to see another video about this.
In this video, I talk about some ways in which I hope I have improved the air conditioning system on this Allis-Chalmers 8070 tractor. Also discussed is an extremely vexing leak at the metering device. There’s even rambling, because when isn’t there in my videos?
I believe this tractor left the factory wearing a Delco R4 compressor. (Allis-Chalmers used both the Delco R4 and A6 on these. I believe early tractors got an A6 and later ones an R4.)
