A look at troubleshooting a Goodman furnace that stopped working. I'll be the first to say that my troubleshooting methods are different than those of most people. I decided to trust (but verify) that the thermostat was doing what it indicated and that the error code displayed by the furnace controller was likely to be correct. I'm told most would start right at the furnace.

From there, I show a few different ways to make electrical tests, for whatever that's worth.

If you don't know what you're doing, or you're not sure, call a professional. Seriously. The life you save could be your own. (I don't have a thing against DIY, but there is a time and place.) Don't EVER bypass a safety switch unless you're going to be right there, keeping an eye on things.

Let's see if Youtube botches the processing on this video too!
