Please accept my apologies for the very shaky video. Naughty Truck really made it (and is still going) on the original engine, transmission, fuel pump and driveline components (except for three u-joints and a few front wheel bearing replacements over time).
Naughty Truck is a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic that I bought in late 2012 with about 94,500 miles on it. Naughty Truck is so named because of some truly odd electrical gremlins that took place years ago.
Upcoming projects: new shocks, coolant flush/fill, transmission fluid and filter change, along with "smoking" the emissions control system to see what it's unhappy about. Way further down the road, the dash is also going to come out for a blend door repair. That will include replacements for every actuator, a new heater core (not presently leaking, but while you're there) and probably a new A/C evaporator (also not leaking, same notion as with the heater core).
To those of you who are going to start telling me all about how your most favorite professional automotive repair Youtuber ever puts Fluid Film on everything including their breakfast and not even their hash browns have never rusted...please don't. I don't care, am not willing to make that kind of effort and did I mention I don't care? Most people would never keep any vehicle this long. Maybe I'll repair the rockers someday...
