After raising her kids while working as a hairdresser, Margarita was ready for a change. A lot of people in her family were nurses, and she knew nursing would be a good fit. She was determined to get into OHSU’s 3-year B.S. with a Major in Nursing program. “I feel like our education is amazing...like it's building us from the ground up. And I just feel like already I've been transformed.”
