Hello,
Okay, so the HD version of TROS has dropped a few days earlier than originally announced, so I'm currently looking at all of the SW projects I've started since December (this isn't even half, I don't think), and wondering what on Earth I should finish first (and how on Earth I'm going to stop TROS looking so smurfy).
Since I'm irrevocably indecisive, I figured I'd upload a compilation of previews and see which ones you'd most like to see (assuming you'd like to see any - way to be a narcissist, Kim). And, as ever with my preview videos - I apologise for the fact these are entirely bare bones (with maybe two exceptions). It's just how I edit.
1. Broken Hearted Girl:
Anyone fed up with Anidala/Reylo parallels yet? Nope. Brilliant!
2. All of the Stars
I was deeply in my feels at about 1am one morning. This song came on shuffle. I have no other excuse.
3. I Don't Wanna Live Forever
I was never particularly content with the first version of this (which I actually made back in early/mid 2017 - so I hadn't even figured out what I shipped in the ST). So...here we go again, I guess.
4. Viva Forever
I've been trying to vid this song for a year with various fandoms. Will this be the attempt that sticks? Stay tuned to find out, folks!
5. In My Head
Again, light night inspo struck...And so here we are. I need to find more songs for these two. I love them to bits, and I don't talk about it enough.
6. Cry Baby
Another (sort of) remake. And I'm having a lot of fun with it. So...yay?
7. I Got You
Yes I enjoy the Star Wars romances, but it's the friendships and familial bonds that really provide the heart of this saga. We don't talk about the various bonds enough.
8. Bleeding Love
It is what it is. Pain.
9. Incomplete
More pain. But especially perfect after the novel confirmed that after Ben's death half of Rey feels like it's missing.
10. Sometimes
Another attempt at just vidding ALL the SW ships. Will I ever upload it...who knows? (Totally didn't go match 'pretty eyes' with Reylo because of both that one deleted Luke/Rey moment, and also the one compliment my nan would give Kylo/Ben pre TROS...)
11. Wings
This is quite likely to be the first one I finish - pretty sure it was the first project I started adding clips to after I got back from TROS.
12. Who Knew
Honestly, how could I not?? Those lyrics.
13. Work Song
Exactly as with the above.
14. Love Me Like You Do
Sometimes you've just got to get a song out your system.
15. Perfectly Wrong
This song screamed them to me when I heard it, so, what else could I do but open yet another project?
16. Never in a Million Years
Songs from musicals (stage musicals, at least) are HARD to edit, guys. Really, really hard to edit. But those lyrics!
17. Nobody Like You
Eh, another concept that popped into my head. I tried.
18. No Time to Die
The LYRICS.
19. Faded
Of *course*. Who can ever resist the call of this song?
20. All About Us
I originally started this one back in 2017, after TLJ - because that throne room scene + 'if they hurt you'

I figured it was time to do another of these because its been a while, and because I have a lot of MEP parts sitting on my laptop.

Kestrel & Acacia - Always Been You

This was a very happy coincidence of this MEP needing a fill-in just as I began to develop the story of these two and the song just happens to work very well for them.
Backstory; Acacia and Kestrel are on the opposite sides of a generations long war between their families. When Kestrels brother and Acacias sister fall in love, Acacia is killed at the engagement dinner by Wren, Kestrels elder sister. Kestrel, a soul catcher, accidentally catches Acacia leaving him with an imprint of her in his head.
Aetari & Riven {+Solemn} - Always Been You

After her father’s kingdom is conquered, Aetari is given in marriage to the conqueror, Solemn. Solemn is eventually killed on the orders of Aetaris brother, Corvus. Solemn’s death leaves Aetari in the care of Riven, Solemn’s best friend and personal guard who has always seemed to hate Aetari - the truth is, however, more complicated.
Ilyiah & Gaius - In The Shadows

Mostly adorable siblings being adorable.
After Acacias death at Peregrines engagement feast, Pidge is held responsible as it is her spell that went wrong - secretly it was Wren who tampered with it. She swears off magic until she can figure out what went wrong - at least until it becomes clear that Kestrels own brand of magic is becoming dangerous to his health. Peregrine, for his part, just wants everyone to be happy.
Amaryllis & Finch {+Hawthorn] - Descent
𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯
The origins of the war that ultimately leads to Acacias death.
Amaryllis, Finch and Hawthorn grew up together, when Hawthorn inherited his mothers throne, he betrayed the friendship by marrying Amaryllis - who was in love with Finch. Hawthorns jealously ultimately led him to betray his former best friend and send him into a battle he couldnt win. Amaryllis would eventually die giving birth to Finchs daughter; Cherry.
Aetari & Scoro [+Riven] - Cant Look Away
Even as children, Corvus was very domineering where Aetari was concerned. Her only source of comfort was Scoro (and the fact that any time Corvus upset her, Scoro would immediately ask him to practice their swordsmanship and promptly knock him on his arse). Over time, their almost sibling like affection grew into mutual attraction - which was never acted upon. After Aetaris marriage to Solemn, Scoro remains a loyal guard at Corvus side, when shit hits the fan, however, Scoro begins to realise he may be on the wrong side and ultimately becomes something of a double agent for Aetari.

Hello,
I have no idea why Im quite so nervous to upload this one (probably because I worked a ridiculous amount of time on it, and I love these characters so much), but I am. Stupidly so.
Before I get into the description on this one a truly HUGE shoutout to Julia for not only to inspire me to actually give editing this story probably a go - Ive always been too nervous to - but also for being unfailingly enthusiastic and supportive - regardless of the time of night I messaged her about manips, general OC things, pretty much everything. Its meant the world.

Story;
Aetari is the princess of a conquered kingdom (which I have still yet to name, because I cannot land on one that feels right) who is forced to marry Solemn, the King who has defeated her people. In marrying Solemn, Aetari finds herself torn between the love she has left behind in her childhood friend, Scoro, and the love she finds in her new family.
Things come to a head when Aetaris brother, Corvus, driven by jealousy, and newly King of her homeland, refuses to accept defeat.
