Hello,

I figured it was time to do another of these because it's been a while, and because I have a lot of MEP parts sitting on my laptop.

I definitely have at least one full video about some of the babies coming 'soon' [read here I'm trying but don't hold your breath].

Kestrel & Acacia - Always Been You

This was a very happy coincidence of this MEP needing a fill-in just as I began to develop the story of these two and the song just happens to work very well for them.
Backstory; Acacia and Kestrel are on the opposite sides of a generations long war between their families. When Kestrel's brother and Acacia's sister fall in love, Acacia is killed at the engagement dinner by Wren, Kestrel's elder sister. Kestrel, a soul catcher, accidentally 'catches' Acacia leaving him with an imprint of her in his head.

Aetari & Riven {+Solemn} - Always Been You

After her father’s kingdom is conquered, Aetari is given in marriage to the conqueror, Solemn. Solemn is eventually killed on the orders of Aetari's brother, Corvus. Solemn’s death leaves Aetari in the care of Riven, Solemn’s best friend and personal guard who has always seemed to hate Aetari - the truth is, however, more complicated.

Ilyiah & Gaius - In The Shadows

Ilyiah is the sole survivor of Gaius' invasion of her kingdom. Seeking to sway public opinion in his favour, he forces Ilyiah to marry him and to secure an heir after he sacrificed his son for more power. Ilyiah will always hate him. When she eventually gives birth to a son, by her lover, Aharon, she is told the child has died - a fact she blames on Gaius' continuing use of dark magic.

Sayah & Aharon - Not Alone

Ilyiah may have been told that her son has died, but it is far from the truth. Instead, to protect the future of Ilyiah's family, he (and his father) are spirited away, along with Sayah, the most loyal of Ilyiah's handmaidens. The two, inevitably, butt heads over the best way to raise baby Orlyon but the three of them become an incredibly tight knit family utterly devoted to each other.

Peregrine & Pidge & Kestrel - She's The Northern Light
𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯
Mostly adorable siblings being adorable.
After Acacia's death at Peregrine's engagement feast, Pidge is held responsible as it is her spell that went wrong - secretly it was Wren who tampered with it. She swears off magic until she can figure out what went wrong - at least until it becomes clear that Kestrel's own brand of magic is becoming dangerous to his health. Peregrine, for his part, just wants everyone to be happy.

Amaryllis & Finch {+Hawthorn] - Descent
𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯
The origins of the war that ultimately leads to Acacia's death.
Amaryllis, Finch and Hawthorn grew up together, when Hawthorn inherited his mother's throne, he betrayed the friendship by marrying Amaryllis - who was in love with Finch. Hawthorn's jealously ultimately led him to betray his former best friend and send him into a battle he couldn't win. Amaryllis would eventually die giving birth to Finch's daughter; Cherry.

Aetari & Scoro [+Riven] - Can't Look Away
Even as children, Corvus was very domineering where Aetari was concerned. Her only source of comfort was Scoro (and the fact that any time Corvus upset her, Scoro would immediately ask him to practice their swordsmanship and promptly knock him on his arse). Over time, their almost sibling like affection grew into mutual attraction - which was never acted upon. After Aetari's marriage to Solemn, Scoro remains a loyal guard at Corvus' side, when shit hits the fan, however, Scoro begins to realise he may be on the wrong side and ultimately becomes something of a double agent for Aetari.
