We stan supportive wife Caroline Enys! The little reassuring looks, and gently directing him with her questions. I love them so much. But would it kill them to give us some Carolight kiss scenes?! Don't get me wrong, I'm loving S5, but literally the only couple to kiss (including Kitty/Ned), is Ross/Demelza.
Are you kidding me?! Here's hoping 5x03 gives us something!
Also, if Dwight's link to Ross and getting Hadfield spared puts Caroline in any sort of danger I am going to throw things. My girl does not deserve that! Let her be happy. Let Carolight be happy!

I figured it was time to do another of these because its been a while, and because I have a lot of MEP parts sitting on my laptop.

Kestrel & Acacia - Always Been You

This was a very happy coincidence of this MEP needing a fill-in just as I began to develop the story of these two and the song just happens to work very well for them.
Backstory; Acacia and Kestrel are on the opposite sides of a generations long war between their families. When Kestrels brother and Acacias sister fall in love, Acacia is killed at the engagement dinner by Wren, Kestrels elder sister. Kestrel, a soul catcher, accidentally catches Acacia leaving him with an imprint of her in his head.
Aetari & Riven {+Solemn} - Always Been You

After her father’s kingdom is conquered, Aetari is given in marriage to the conqueror, Solemn. Solemn is eventually killed on the orders of Aetaris brother, Corvus. Solemn’s death leaves Aetari in the care of Riven, Solemn’s best friend and personal guard who has always seemed to hate Aetari - the truth is, however, more complicated.
Ilyiah & Gaius - In The Shadows

Mostly adorable siblings being adorable.
After Acacias death at Peregrines engagement feast, Pidge is held responsible as it is her spell that went wrong - secretly it was Wren who tampered with it. She swears off magic until she can figure out what went wrong - at least until it becomes clear that Kestrels own brand of magic is becoming dangerous to his health. Peregrine, for his part, just wants everyone to be happy.
Amaryllis & Finch {+Hawthorn] - Descent
𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯
The origins of the war that ultimately leads to Acacias death.
Amaryllis, Finch and Hawthorn grew up together, when Hawthorn inherited his mothers throne, he betrayed the friendship by marrying Amaryllis - who was in love with Finch. Hawthorns jealously ultimately led him to betray his former best friend and send him into a battle he couldnt win. Amaryllis would eventually die giving birth to Finchs daughter; Cherry.
Aetari & Scoro [+Riven] - Cant Look Away
Even as children, Corvus was very domineering where Aetari was concerned. Her only source of comfort was Scoro (and the fact that any time Corvus upset her, Scoro would immediately ask him to practice their swordsmanship and promptly knock him on his arse). Over time, their almost sibling like affection grew into mutual attraction - which was never acted upon. After Aetaris marriage to Solemn, Scoro remains a loyal guard at Corvus side, when shit hits the fan, however, Scoro begins to realise he may be on the wrong side and ultimately becomes something of a double agent for Aetari.

I have no idea why Im quite so nervous to upload this one (probably because I worked a ridiculous amount of time on it, and I love these characters so much), but I am. Stupidly so.
Before I get into the description on this one a truly HUGE shoutout to Julia for not only to inspire me to actually give editing this story probably a go - Ive always been too nervous to - but also for being unfailingly enthusiastic and supportive - regardless of the time of night I messaged her about manips, general OC things, pretty much everything. Its meant the world.

Story;
Aetari is the princess of a conquered kingdom (which I have still yet to name, because I cannot land on one that feels right) who is forced to marry Solemn, the King who has defeated her people. In marrying Solemn, Aetari finds herself torn between the love she has left behind in her childhood friend, Scoro, and the love she finds in her new family.
Things come to a head when Aetaris brother, Corvus, driven by jealousy, and newly King of her homeland, refuses to accept defeat.

Yup, Im back with more of these babies. Again.
This song was just too perfect for both Mahrya and Tryskia to resist. So...I didnt.
This project hasnt come out exactly how I imagined it; but I find it difficult to focus on characters rather than couples anyway - particularly OCs where youre borrowing another characters face and lines, so its tricky to make it about the stories Im telling, if that makes any sense? (Not to mention I make my life as difficult as possible with my fancasts at the best of times). Still, its not totally ~awful~ , so Ill take it.
In case youre not familiar with these two:
Tryskia [borrowing Daisy Ridleys lovely face] is the niece (ish), of the tyrant who led the purge of magic almost 1,000 years ago. Shes been kept fiercely sheltered, separated from the world and taught to fear magic and all those with it. The truth is her uncle fears that if she was allowed out she might meet her magical other half who would awaken her latent abilities.
And...spoiler alert. She does. Instead of a steady, slow feed, she is overwhelmed by a flood of power she cannot control, and begins to cause chaos and destruction wherever she goes.
Mahrya [borrowing Adelaide Kanes lovely face] is the daughter of the Tryants closest adviser, an awful sycophant. Mahrya has been raised her whole life to seek out power, and influence, and is it falls into her lap she is faced with terrible choice after terrible choice even as she feels her true self crumbling away.
