For my second (and concluding) feature of DS Sunday this week, it is my great pleasure to present an album I have been listening to on steady repeat for almost a month now, and am glad to get to share it on the channel.
Here is Hungarian artist Ádám Hajnal (Cursed Pumpkin, Grassland Sentinel), with his debut Star Mace album, Meandering Dreams Of Forgotten Times.
Minimally titled tracks depict a dream of five chapters, in an immaculate excursion into the bleak, mesmerising, hypnotic world of hypnagogic dungeon doom. Inspired by the lineage of atmospheric and melancholic sounds of artists like Cemetery Fading, Ghoëst, Old Forsaken Realm, Raathgard, Gravfrost, this expands on this hauntological realm with a ghostly reverie.
It also pairs extremely well with the previous album in my DS Sunday set today (though I do always try to post a complementary set of albums each week in some way). Two essential albums for your Sunday.

DS Sunday intro banners for this month feature the work of French artist François Garas (1866-1925). A mysterious, and enigmatic architect involved in the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, Garas created utopian, dreamlike compositions seeking to translate ideas, sensations and musical rhythms into architectural structures. His signature works are ‘Artists' Interiors’ and ‘Temples for Future Religions’, dedicated to the great composers Beethoven and Wagner, and themes of ‘Life’, ‘Death’, and ‘Thought’.
