High on the hillside above the Churnet Valley stands St Werburgh’s Church in Kingsley, its tower a steadfast landmark against the Staffordshire sky.
The stonework and elegant tower reveal centuries of craftsmanship, rising proudly over the village below. The churchyard, with its weathered gravestones, whispers stories of generations who once walked these same paths.
From above, the church seems to rest in harmony with the rolling countryside, a timeless guardian watching over Kingsley, its bells once calling the valley to prayer, its presence still a symbol of faith and community.
