Alstonefield is one of the Peak District's most picturesque villages, where a series of distinctive triangular village greens create an unusually open and timeless landscape.

Winding lanes, traditional limestone cottages and dry stone walls lead the eye towards the heart of the village, where the magnificent St Peter's Church has watched over the community for almost a thousand years. Parts of the church date back to the 12th century, standing on the site of an even earlier Saxon place of worship, with Anglo-Saxon cross fragments and what is believed to be England's oldest legible gravestone found within its churchyard.

From above, the unique pattern of Alstonefield's triangular greens, framed by the rolling hills of the White Peak.

The village seems untouched by time, offering a peaceful glimpse into rural Staffordshire where history, heritage and breathtaking scenery come together in perfect harmony.
