I volunteered my services to cast an aluminum die for YouTuber @DavidGuyton so that he could hammer form the center "blister" to his replica reproduction jetpacks from the movie "the Rocketeer." Watch as I go step by step from creating the pattern to ramming up a green sand mold and casting the aluminum. David and his YouTube channel focus mostly on armor forming techniques, but his creation of the iconic jetpack from the Rocketeer movie caught my attention, so sit back and watch the creation of this die to help in reproducing the movie prop.
