Join me while I recreate this $50 "OK, But First Coffee" sign that I saw on amazon.ca My version, using Dollar Tree items and my Cricut Maker was around $8! As a result, I am challenging my crafty YouTube friends to do the same. To participate in this open challenge, upload your Spring DIY Dupe video on Wednesday March 24 (let me know when you do so I can make sure it is added to the playlist). You must show a picture of the product you are trying to recreate and show where you saw it (Amazon, WayFair, Michaels, etc) and how much the original cost. You also need to show how much your version cost. As well. YOU MUST include #Spring_DIY_Dupe in your title.
Materials:
4 narrow solid wood signs from the Dollar Tree
Gorilla Glue
black acrylic paint
white Rustoleum chalk paint
foam brushes
black and white vinyl and my Cricut Maker
5 "Command" style hooks from Dollar Tree
TOTAL cost around $8.00

MATERIALS NEEDED FOR LIVESTREAM BEACH SCHENE APRIL 7:
-ACRYLIC PAINT AND BRUSHES (I will be using Liquitex Basics and Matte Medium, but you can use Dollar Store paint and water just fine) - as we will be doing colour mixing, you only NEED white, black, red, blue, yellow, and brown, but if you have more that's great!
-8 x 10 " canvas
-paper towl and water
