Watch me in this step-by-step tutorial on making an easy shutter fold card for my husband's birthday! You will need some cardstock, glue stick, stamps and stickers.
Cut card base 22cm X 14 cm and fold in to meet in the center to make standard gate fold card. Cut 2 rectangles of patterned paper, slightly smaller than the 2 front panels, and glue in place.
Cut 2 rectangles 9cm X 7.5 cm for the shutter mechanism and cut triangles out of one end of each rectangle. Score 1cm in from one end of long side of each rectangle to make tab. Glue mechanism in place. Cut green rectangle 16cm X 8cm and cut circle in top half. Score 1cm at each short end. Cover with patterned paper. Glue tabs in place to cover shutter. Decorate as desired.
