Spooky horse rescued from slaughter fights sleep. We saved Ralphie from a kill pen a few weeks ago. When he arrived, he wouldn't allow anyone to touch him. He's afraid of everything.
It's been below freezing here in Oklahoma, so we haven't been able to spend any time desensitizing him until today.
Watch him fight sleep as he struggles between keeping an eye on me and drifting off to Dreamland.
