Hina and Parsee (not an odd duo when you think about) are the Scene 2 bosses of the game Double Spoiler, the 12.5th installment of the Touhou Project and sequel to Shoot the Bullet. The Touhou Project is a danmaku shooter series normally NOT like this. Is normally more linear and insane.
So, what does these two have that they deserve to be together, fighting side by side against sensationalist ace reporter Aya Shameimaru? Well, I identified two things:
- They are the stage 2 bosses of their respective games
- They both manipulate attributes normally frowned by society: misfortune and envy.
It would have been infinitely more awesome if Hina could manipulate another Deadly Sin, like Pride (Cirno or Utsuho), Gluttony (Saigyouji), Lust (Koishi or Kirisame), Wrath (Mokou? You know, with all never living down the whole revenge thing), Sloth/Acedia (Yukari) and Greed (Kanako, Kaguya, Hakurei, Remilia, I could make a case for half the cast). There you go, your lineup for that Fullmetal Alchemist/Touhou Crossover you've been dying to make. Go nuts.
Other than that, there's not much to say other than comment on the songs. This was the third video I made for the playthrough, with scene 4 being the first (I later redid it, but the idea stayed the same). At this point, I realized that if I was going to use vocals only and if always chose the best of the best, I would end up playing mostly songs from Unlucky Morpheus and Liz Triangle. There were some very awesome songs for "Green-Eyed Jealously", but I decided on going with by Unlucky Morpheus. Although Liz Triangle also made a strong case, I wanted to be more varied. Also, Fuki didn't make the lyrics. That's a surprise =o
And this song is the titular song of the album =D
I strongly suggest you give a try to the complete song. Not all the awesomeness got captured.
