Den levels are just mini-Ruins levels. These are the Ruins levels that only contain one Sublevel to complete.
All you have to do here is splat your way through as many Salmonids as possible until you get enough Power Eggs for your Bot Buddy to use to drill right for this level's treasure.

In these Den levels, the usual first-time treasure is a rare Spirhalite Gem. This can help with crafting stronger gear, as well as help with construction of your Hideout Ship. Try to collect as many of these as possible. It's even possible - albeit extremely rare - to get these randomly!
