This last Sandy Canyon Stage before the main boss is a cute escort stage.
A group of Wee Birdees were separated from their mother, a Big Birdee, and then locked in a cage.
Thankfully, your Kirbys will free them, and then some of them will carry around the Wee ones for the rest of the Stage until they're back with their mommy. Poor babies!
Unfortunately, this will be easier said than done thanks to all of the monsters you'll have to fight along the way, especially when the Spiky Gegs start showing up!
There will be 6 Wee Birdies, and each Kirby can only hold one of them at a time. So in other words, if you end up losing 5 Kirbys out of 10 or more, it's a Game Over.

Once Mama Birdee is reunited with her precious babies, she'll be so happy and move out of the way of the Goal Door, which will also lead to another Rainbow Bubble that bridges the way towards Sandy Canyon's boss.
