Splatoon Raiders is out now exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2, and this video takes on the game's first boss, Flappetizer, The Wing Bringer.

Flappetizer is an airborne Salmonid boss that spends the fight circling the arena on its enormous yellow wings, making it a very different challenge to the ground based Salmonids you face during standard raids. Its two main threats are the ink tornados it whips up across the arena and the bombs it drops from above, both of which force constant movement and make positioning far more important than raw damage output. Fighting something that rarely comes down to your level is a smart way to introduce the game's boss encounters, and it tests everything the tutorial and early raids have taught you.
Splatoon Raiders is the first standalone spin-off in the franchise, a single player focused PvE looter shooter where you play as the Mechanic, raiding Salmonid held territory across the Spirhalite Islands alongside Deep Cut, with one member accompanying you in an Exploration Bot.
