The Grand Festival... the final Splatfest of Splatoon 3...

...has come to an end.

However, even after this Grand Fest, you get to stay in the Grand Splatlands Grounds for just 2 more hours before the final results are shown.

As such, the Now or Never Seven have gone their separate ways back into Squid Sisters, Off the Hook, and Deep Cut. Each idol group had then went through one last series of rotations between each of the three stages.

This time, however, they will all each only sing and perform one song. A conclusive song to ease down the festival and prepare everyone to return to their homes:

- Squid Sisters Callie & Marie performed Maritime Memory, their Credits theme from Splatoon 1.

- Off the Hook's Pearl & Marina performed Into the Light, their Credits theme from Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion.

- And Deep Cut performed Daybreak Anthem, a song that plays within Splatoon 3, itself, usually within 24 hours right after a Splatfest ends while in the Lobby. It is not a Credits theme, but it sure plays like one.

And then once I got my fill, it was time to wait for the Final Results...

Back in Splatsville, the Final Results of the Grand Festival were finally shown...

A competition between Past, Present, and Future...

And the ultimate winner turned out to be...

*TEAM PAST!*

The Grand Festival winner turned out to be Team Past, lead by the Squid Sisters Callie & Marie!

As such, everyone, from Squid Sisters to Off the Hook to Deep Cut, there was an attempt for them to look back on their favorite memories. At the very least, Marina got to share one of hers.

It seemed they all wanted to collab again someday, just as they did as the Now or Never Seven, but for now, you can continue to stop by and say hi to each idol group in their respective hubs.

When Squid Sisters & Off the Hook signed off, Deep Cut had to process just how much the Grand Festival was over now.

Shiver & Frye also realized that Big Man was correct about getting along with Inkopolis, even despite their past beef with them. It looks like they truly enjoyed their time with the other idols now.

Although their team lost this final Splatfest, they will still look forward to the Future! DEEP CUT FOREVER!
----------

And so... I went ahead and "waved" at all three idol groups one more time, before showing off the game's main credits. I felt this was the most conclusive way I could finish this video.

Outside of character interactions, this game will still carry on. Certain Splatfests, mostly holiday-based on, will have repeats, as will Big Runs. The game will also still be updated for weapon balancing, but not as frequent or as focused.

Also, if you have an amiibo of any of the idols, you can use them to return to the Grand Splatlands Grounds and revisit any portion of the Grand Festival.

But trust me, it was at its best the first time around. Truly a “You Just Had to Be Here” deal…

Besides all of that encore insurance, Nintendo's prime time with Splatoon 3 has officially come to a close…
----------

Thank you for spending this time watching my experiences with not only the Grand Festival, but everything else about Splatoon 3, as well, such as Hero Mode's Return of the Mammalians, Salmon/Big Run, Side Order, and all of these different Splatfests and multiplayer modes the game had to offer. I had not missed a single one of this game’s Splatfests, including the very first one for the Global Testfire.

Between all of this and Splatoon 1's online having shut down a few months prior, Team Past's victory can feel appropriate in its own way of letting us realize how far (and FAST) Splatoon has grown as a Nintendo franchise that was only born during the mid-2010s... AND on a console that Nintendo deemed a failure (the Wii U).

Even then, let's continue to enjoy the Present state of this series, and look forward to what the Future may still hold for it. Who knows how the results of the Grand Festival will affect the next big game...?

Though I may still post more gameplay videos from time to time, my priorities with this game are most likely going to drop now. It's been a fantastic two years playing it, and over 9 years of investing time into this entire cute, colorful, and fashionable franchise.

Regardless of what I do next, once again, I thank you for watching, and *Thank you, Splatoon 3.*
