The idea for making the unit originates from Damian O'connor, who has experimented a lot with connecting small polygons. A link to his channel can be found on my channel.
It looks like the highest build shown in this video is about as high as you can build this design with standard strength 5 mm magnets, as the unit carrying most of the weight partially collapsed shortly after I was ready making pictures and filming.
