This build can be continued indefinitely lengthwise, but when expanding outwards you get in trouble as it appears to be a lattice in hyperbolic space. There are 2 ways in hyperbolic space for this lattice: one is starting in a point (shapes in previous upload) or starting with a line (this upload) which turns to completely different appearances of the same lattice.
