Spider-Man is an action-adventure video game based on the iconic Marvel Comics character. Developed by Neversoft and published by Activision in 2000, the game follows Spider-Man as he sets out to clear his name after being framed by a mysterious doppelganger, which turns him into a wanted criminal. As he investigates the conspiracy, a far greater threat emerges—a symbiote invasion begins to engulf New York City.
NoirStation Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - An instant PlayStation classic, Spider-Man is packed with soul and imagination—almost as if it were crafted by fans themselves. The inclusion of narration by Stan Lee adds a charming, authentic touch that enhances the comic book feel. While the game has aged in some areas, with noticeable issues like clunky camera angles and dated controls, its heart and creativity still shine through.
