Ninjamurai is a fast-paced side-scrolling action game developed and published by Open Emotion Studios in 2011. The story follows a young warrior known as Ninjamurai, a rare blend of magician, ninja, and samurai. Driven by the need to avenge his fallen master, he fights through corrupt and malevolent forces that threaten his world.
NoirStation Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ - Ninjamurai is a fast paced, side scrolling action game with a story that’s engaging enough to keep you moving forward. The gameplay is snappy and energetic, and most of the boss fights are enjoyable and memorable, though the final boss falls a bit flat. On the downside, the game suffers from frustrating ''leap of faith'' jumps that turn sections into trial and error. The music is forgettable, and the visuals lack impact, leaving the world feeling a little bland. Overall, it’s an average game: fun in short bursts, but flawed in design and presentation.
