When we test the speed with an internet speed test, the internet speed and latency numbers are indicators of speed. But for games, it's about the actual speed. A Speedtest value only shows the speed of the connection to the testing server, which may not have high traffic. When connecting to a game server where there are many players, the ping can be different because the test is a simulation to a server from the location of the game server.
