This video presents a second teaching tutorial about Punch Drumming (Hitting with Music) on a Speed Bag. It presents concepts and methods for using "Syncopated Combinations", with a constant beat, using a Metronome. "Syncopated" means various punches (and sounds) do not land exactly "on-the-beat" but at least ONE punch does connect exactly on the beat line to keep you in time with the metronome beat ( or music). This is a bit more advanced from "Straight Time Punching". It is presented for beginners to learn "beat control" with the combinations presented. There is a musical presentation at the end, punching to a Backing Track purchased from the amazing "Nick Neblo". The track is A harmonic minor scale (E Phrygian dominant mode). Flamenco Arabic style for improvisation. Training with a metronome is recommended to simply your "sound cue" for punching and limit distractions of other instruments or melody pattern. If you can punch these to a metronome...the will work with pretty much any song and you will be bag beat will be "drumming" with the song.
