As we continue the journey of building a song from start to finish on the SP-404MKII, we find ourselves needing to come up with a basic song structure! The best way to do that is with pattern chaining, which is a feature that not many people even know that the SP-404MKII has! The 404MKII features 16 pattern chains per project, and each chain can hold up to 16 patterns. Since a pattern can be 64 measures long, this means you can have an immense amount of music sequenced and chained up, ready to go! Enjoy the video :)
