You requested it and now we have a review of a IDEX 3D printer. IDEX stands for independent dual extruder. The machine has two hot ends, which can print two colours, two materials or even two models at a time. In this video, I thoroughly review the SV04 to see how it performs.
If the slicing profile was up to scratch on this printer, I would only have the minor complaints to discuss. Since a slicer profile is free to change and can fix the primary problem, I give this printer a thumbs up overall.
This machine was provided free of charge by Sovol for the purpose of review. All opinions expressed are my own.

![What each 3D printer firmware does well, and where it needs improvement
Check out my 2nd channel, TT Racing: https://www.youtube.com/@TTRacingYT
Incredible advancements in firmware have driven the significant growth of 3D printing at home. There are four main 3D printer firmwares available, and each has pros and cons. In this video, I examine what each does well, and look at areas where they could improve the user experience, especially for beginners.
Let me know in the comments if you agree with this critique.

![Endless 3D printing - DIY conveyor belt delta bed
Since I tested the Creality CR-30 Print Mill, I’ve wanted a 3D printer that could eject finished parts and continue through a print queue autonomously. In this video, I take you through how I converted my FLsun Super Racer delta 3D printer to do just that. Everything is free and open source. A separate video is provided to cover the step by step assembly.
Still some work to do to make it foolproof but as a proof of concept I’m very happy.
Thanks to Adam from Powerbelt3D for offering tips and advice in my design process. Thanks to my patrons for assisting with the list of part ejection capable printers.

![A 3D printed guitar that looks and sounds awesome - Cateran Mk2
Check out my 2nd channel, TT Racing: https://www.youtube.com/@TTRacingYT
I love products that you make yourself as a project with a 3D printer and other tools. In this video, I showcase the Cateran Mk2, an almost entirely 3D printed guitar from Filatone Instruments. Since I’m only a novice musician, I was lucky enough to have my friend Andrew come in and test the guitar properly. In addition to his verbal feedback, I think his big smile says a lot. I highly recommend this project.
The Cateran k2 and all of the hardware was purchased with my own money, apart from the fret wire which was generously donated by Andrew. All opinions expressed are my own.
One additional thing to mention is that nothing is glued here, so you can reprint anything you’re not happy with, or simply change the colour if you desire. I will probably redo the body in another

![Setting up the ultimate home makerspace! - Moving house and custom parts
Moving house is a pain. It’s particularly a pain when you have a vast collection of 3D printers and other manufacturing equipment, it gets a lot harder. In this video I take you through my move, but focus mainly on setting everything up to be the ultimate home makerspace. This includes custom 3D printed and laser cut parts.
Please leave feedback on the new studio and camera angle. The microphone is closer so I think the audio is better. However, I think I need a bit more light on my face and maybe less on the back wall to let the RGB lights stand out more.
