LET THE ENTIRE VIDEO LOAD BEFORE PLAYING WITH THE SCENE SELECTOR
Scene 1: Today I picked up Dan and we headed for Lemont where we were trying for the oil local. We got there just as Metra was coming into the station.

Scene 2: We drove down to Flag Stone to see if waiting for the oil local was sitting there. The second we got there it took off. I floored it down New Ave to try to get the shot with the mural in downtown, but then I look back in my rear view mirror, and there it is, doing atleast 45 MPH. A quick turn into the Lemont train station and we captured it doing almost freight speed.

Scene 3: We went to Plainfield to try to get the JSW1 Local. I guess we missed it, so instead we got this stupid UP coal train.
Scene 4: BCOL C44-9WL on the lead of M347. We drove up to The J yard on Jackson Street and saw a red topped engine. I thought it was a Canadian Pacific, but then a closer look and we saw the red white and blue. Driving quickly to Woodruff Road we got a shitty shot of the great catch.

Scene 5: A CN State Line Coal takes of from Joliet yard. Funky horn on the leader. Also note the new side lights installed at the crossing.

Scene 6: Wanting to get a shot of the yard power down at Rockdale, a drive down Route 6 brings us to the trailing unit on J745. We got our shots and continued down to Rockdale where we saw the head of the train sitting at the yard. We didn't want to get out because of all the CSX crews over there. So we drove to Empress Road. After waiting a hell of a long time we see another railfan who shall remain anonymous ...Nictrain35... He was staring at us pretty much the entire time we were sitting in the car.

I'm not sure how this local works, but I've never heard of it coming back south after completing its journey up north. We caught L543 again at a private drive in Willow Springs.

Scene 7:
We were stalked once we reached Lockport. We were there hoping to get CHI102 with a trio of Cascade Green EMD units. I see no Cascade Green, and I see no EMD.

Scene 8: On the way home we took Lemont Road back to I-55, and while crossing the BNSF's Argonne Sub we drove staring straight at a BN Cascade GP50, with the full side logo, and an EMDX GP40-2. The caboose on the end made for an added bonus.

Last Scenes:
Before dropping Dan off we stopped in Lisle, got horn from every train that passed.

Before dropping Dan off we did a little foaming at the Finley Road crossing in Lombard. Caught this Metra and a freight with two NS units was sitting over I-355. Note the signal bridge sitting on the ground.
