While the Southern Pacific Railroad has been gone since 1996, a FEW locomotives still roam the rails in SP colors. In this video, we'll chase one of the few remaining engines on the UnIon Pacific roster, wearing SP Colors.
Starting off in Hastings, MN we'll see UP 6379, former SP 333, leading train 645 on the CPKC. As it rounds the curve, it stops to have a quick meet with Amtrak before heading west. After blasting off from Hastings, we'll see it racing through Saint Paul Park in great evening sun. The train is seen one final time at Cardigan Jct, and screams up the Withrow Sub as it head west. As of the creation of this video, I *think* there are perhaps five locomotives left in SP colors on the UP.
