When you hear of a battle, what comes to mind? What about a TRAIN battling it out against a steep, and heavy grade? Lets take a look at one of the more formidable grade on Canadian National's mainline, the famous Byron Hill. Even in a world of modern GE power, trains still struggle up this grade, and often need helpers.
We'll chase CN's train L510 as it makes its way down the rails, and over Byron Hill. These EMD's SCREAM as it crawls, winds, and roars up the line. One can only image what this route was like back in the days of the WC, and legions of SD45s. Even in 2026, this part of the railroad is so cool to see. To top it off, the crew was really cool!
